A great place to base a more independent holiday on this island, which, for all its charms, is overrun with package holidays. Here though you can head to the lovely beach, enjoy some real greek cuisine,or take one of the delightful day trips!

Magic Beach

Drawn to it by name, my boyfriend and I have re-named it 'Magically Perfect' Beach, to compete with Paradise beach nearby which is also perfect but rather more populated. Such a gorgeous relaxing place, you can feel totally free to chill out and do nothing except eat good foor and maybe swim in the sea a little.

My mates and I ended up on holiday here, and we had asuch a fun time. I enrolled in a windsurfing course and learned so much in the week I totally fell in love with the sport and can't wait to go back.

My friends and I went for a relaxing break in Kos recently and ended up in this resort. We were really impresses, lovely large beach, understated nightlife, and a lovely relaxed vibe all the time. Perfect for winding down from our less than relaxing lives!
