If you happen to be passing near by this lovely little village, try to make a detour - preferably at lunchtime. Its just south west of Kos town and is mainly inhabitted by Turkish people. In my books that means great food guaranteed. Choose from any of the diners around the main square for an inexpensive meal.

This is a lovely restaurant and the staff are incredibly friendly - if a bit overbearing at times! The main courses are vast and come with lots of sides. Make sure you try the Kleftiko which is a traditional Greek lamb dish and really delicious.

One of the many typical Greek taverns on Kos,this place offers a lot for the casual tourist.The food is local,with fresh ingredients prepared the traditional greeek way.Be sure to try the mousakka,a plate with potatoes,grilled meat and vegetables.The service is fast and efficient and the price is cheap!
