I'd never known a place advertise so much that its citizens were fond of emigrating! But this is a great little place, really interesting, and you get great views over Teguise too!

We went for a tour here and it was so interesting. The history of the island is pretty cool and the caves are lovely, if a little eerie in places.

Going to a museum whilst on holiday in Lanzarote might not appeal to you, but if it does, head to the Castillo San Gabriel. There's is a great collection of art by and ethnographic information on the aboriginal people who lived in Lanzarote before the Spanish arrived.
