Guinate Tropical Park

What a lovely place! Perfect for treating the kids there is so much to see and do here, but make sure you pack lunch if you want to save a bit of cash. The underwater penguin viewing area was the biggest hit of the day with my little ones.

Rancho Texas Park

Fun! Huge place with plenty to do, especially for the little ones, and we could just enjoy the great weather. An indian village, parrots, farmyard animals and the crocodiles were the top spots.

Timanfaya Volcano Park

I've never been to a volcano before, and was a little apprehansive. But it's AMAZING! The colours, the landscape, the slightly weird feel in the air, the diablo restaurant, I loved it all! If you only make one trip on your holiday in Lanzarote you should go here!

Such a favourite with the kids! Beautiful gardens and a great selection of animals to look at it really does make for a fun and relaxed day out.

Montanas del Fuego

The highlight of my trip to Lazarote, I couldn't believe the landscape and how far removed it felt from the subathing and the all-inclusive resorts! The bus trip once you reach the park takes you on an amazing journey complete with history, commentary and stops at the most stunning views. The wonders don't cease at the end of the ride though, at the visitors centre you can eat food cooked right from the heat of the 'dormant' volcano!!
