Inside the impressive fort is this gem of a museum. You get to see artefacts of the area's history as well as see out over the city and the sea so it's perfect.

Larnaca Medieval Museum

My friends and I were on a road trip around Cyprus and stopped for lunch in Larnaca. We couldn't help but spot the fort on the seafront, an impressive building, so we investigated. A really interesting and unexpected museum nestles inside so I wanted to bring it to more wider attention!

Larnaca Fort and Medieval Museum

We had a lovely day looking round the fort and museum. The musuem had loads of interesting artefacts and some great medieval artworks. We spent a lovely long lunch out in the theatre-type bit of the outside space just watching the world go by and relaxing.
