Stavrovouni Monastery

Stavrovouni is a hill located near the city Larnaca, Cypru. On top of the hill there is a Greek Orthodox Monastery. The name of the Monastery is kept same as of the name of the hill, Stavrovouni. The name Stavrovouni derived from the two words ‘Stavros’ (cross) & ‘vouno’ (mountain) is dedicated to the Holy Cross. In the 4th century Saint Helena, mother of Constantine the Great, had left a fragment of the Holy Cross to the Monastery. The Monastery is open for visitors on all week days throughout the year.

Louis Princess Beach Hotel

The location of the Louis Princess Beach Hotel is what makes it so special. Located on the Larnaca Dhekelia Road, the beach is right next to it. The rooms were fantastic with fabulous views of the sea and the mountains. The hotel restaurant was very clean and the food options and quality were very good. The management was very effective in keeping their guests comfortable and whenever I needed something, it was provided to me at the earliest. Everything about this hotel is great and I would definitely go back to it when the opportunity comes by.

Cactus Hotel

The Hotel Cactus is one of the finest 2 star hotels in all of Larnaca. The airport is only 3 miles away from the hotel and takes about 10 minutes to get there. The facilities such as the Tennis court, the swimming pool and the gym are all well constructed and equipped. Checking in to the hotel room was smooth as the desk manager was efficient at his work. The sea was just few steps away from the hotel and made for an unforgettable view from the room. The other guests in the hotel where very friendly and all of us had a good time together.

Hala Sultan Tekke

It is a very prominent & sacred shrine for the Muslims. It is situated near the salt lake in Larnaca, on the islands of Cyprus. It is a shrine of Umm Haram who was the wet-nurse of Prophet Mohammed(Saw). This place a Mosque, Mousoleum, Minaret, Cemetry & living quarters for men & women. Its a sacred holy place for the Muslims.
