Forum Caesar's Palace

If ancient Rome did shopping malls... This is about the kitschest place in Town, and in a town like Las Vegas that's really saying something. It's kitted out entirely in faux marble with spiral staircases and cloudy sky frescoes. One day I'll win big in one of the casinos and be able to actually afford something here, but until that day its worth going just to see.

Television City MGM Grand

Get a chance to review pilot tv shows and unaired episodes right on the strip. All you have to do is go to the research centre for free tickets, show up, watch tv and review using little computer things they give you. be as honest as you want! it's your chance to say something about the shows that get to your tv! i had so much fun!

Springs Preserve

posted by mullman on 8 October 2010 at 12:25

I left my husband to the casinos having given up getting a word of sense out of him and discovered the true Las Vegas at this lovely preserve. Educating about the history of the springs that made the area attractive to settlers as well as exploring sustainability and the future of scarce water resources, along with a lovely garden and some sweet animals this was just the tonic i needed.

333 S. Valley View Blvd about 6 miles from the strip, a taxi was pretty reasonable

Atomic Testing Museum

Being a physics nut I had to escape the stag do-strip-focussed-entertainment and visit this museum. It was really educational and there were some fascinating things. The ground zero theatre, a replica bunker and atomic explosion, was really well done and hopefully the closest i'll get to the real thing.

Liberace Museum

Take your sunglasses and go explore the crazy, wonderful, and sparkly world of the godfather of bling! The cars and the pianos are wonderful but I enjoyed the costume gallery the most, although they just beg to be tried on....which you can do with a liberace-inspired cape made especially for visitors to try on! A simply astonishing place.

1775 East Tropicana Avenue-About 15 mins drive away from the strip either a hire car if you have one or a taxi are they best ways to get there
