We couldn't come all the way to Vegas and not go the legendary Caesars Palace. The opulent style was verging on the ridiculous and thankfully we missed Celine Dion, but it was pretty cool to be inside such a famous and inspirational place.

Probably a place for high rollers, this hotel is really chic. All rooms are suites, There's even a deli and a gorgeous fitness centre. The towers are connected to MGm which has all the restaurants, spas, gaming and retail you could need.

I can recommend this place very highly. The value for money is great, at about $100 to $130 per night. For that money you get a spacious, clean room with a really comfortable bed. There is a beautiful swimming pool with loungers, as well as a great outside gambling area. There are some really good restaurants in the hotel. Red 8 especially is wonderful and serves some really incentive Chinese Fusion food.

Ok, so it's not on the strip, but if you're looking for cheap and cheerful accomodation, this place is great. There is friendly service and massive portions in the restaurant. Big Al's alligator bar is a great seafood restaurant. I've heard also, that you can get a deal on your room price with fairly low stake in the casino..

The Mirage Hotel and Casino proved to be a good hotel to spend 3 days in Las Vegas. I got a free upgrade of my hotel room on reaching the hotel, which I though was very nice of the management. The room was surprisingly huge and the outside was simply magical. Housekeeping and room service was excellent. The casino was flooded with people from all parts of the country. It turned out to be a good hunting ground as I did win a fair amount. The food was good and all the amenities in the hotel were simply great.
