I just loved this wonderful building, and think that the mix of styles as it's be re-done over the years really adds character, it's like you can see the story of its life writ large on its walls. The rose window, as ever, was a highlight.

Built in 1147 this cathedral was built on the remains of a msosque as well as on part of a Roman road. The excavations of the mosque can be seen in the cloisters. The cathedral iself is impressive but successive rebuilding after earthquakes have left a mixed bag of architectural treasures, but it is imposing nonetheless.
