Parque Floresal de Monsano

I love city holidays as there's so much to do but actually I love getting out for the day. This park is right in the centre of Lisbon but feels miles away. The viewpoint is popular, and well worth seeing but the highlight is the keil do amaral amphitheatre where I was lucky and caught a free concert by young musicians!

A genuine venue to watch and Fado while enjoying food and/or drinks. Traditional songs are sung about life, love and death. Members of staff are often caught singing too!
