When travelling in European cities it can often be a struggle to find restaurants serving local native dishes. When I last went to Lisbon with my husband I made it my mission to ensure we ate out at Portuguese places every night. Lautasco was the best of the ones we found, in an idyllic setting in a courtyard with outside atmposhere. The salmon was a real delight.

Whenever I am in Lisbon, and want to have a romantic evening with my wife, we always like to eat at Flor da Laranja, a wonderful Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Lisbon. There are lots of pillows decorating the interior of the restaurant, and the servers always have a friendly and cheerful vibe, inviting you to share their hospitality, and their amazing food.

I like it because they cook fish and I'm really in love with a particular recipe: "bacalau". I could eat that kind of fish every time I get a chance but unfortunately I don't live there so it's hard. But anyway in Switzerland we have it too but not as good as in Adeja's restaurant. Hope next time I'll go, I'll have the chance to eat there again. Twice I let a big tip because the waiters served me well and the cook has come twice to ask us if the food tasted good. Sure it did!

When visiting Portugal you have to try Portuguese food. This restaurant serves very good food. You have to try the fried fish. It will melt in your mouth. This is also a very romantic spot with singers who will come to your table to serenade you with beautiful traditional songs.

Cas de Comida is a Spanish/Portugal restaurant. Their main delicacies are lobster with vegetables and roast kid. I like the prices because they are affordable from $39 - $78 per plate. I enjoy the quality cuisine and the exquisite flavor.
