Tile Museum

I just loved this museum. The history and the decorations of the tiles are great (particulary the long one of lisbon) but it's the building that really enhances the building into a special place to visit. Set in a old convent the interior is just fabulous, particularly the St. Anthony chapel.

National Tile Museum

A beautiful baroque building in Lisbon is the National Tile Museum. The building itself is very interesting because it used to be a convent, and still has its chapel and religious artwork. The main highlights of the museum are, of course, the blue and white ceramic tiles that Portugal is famous for. It was interesting to see how they are made, and the more beautiful examples of their work.
