I have mixed feelings of my stay at the Citadines Hotel which was for 2 nights. As for the pluses, the location is brilliant as most of the sights in London are within walking distance from the hotel. The staff is quite helpful and the room was quite clean. As for the negatives, the room looked very old and definitely needs a make over. The carpets were worn out and the furniture was very used. The front desk was slow to respond to some of my requests, but they were taken care of nevertheless. If you are looking for a hotel in a great location, then this is the hotel you want to stay in.

The Goring Hotel is one of the elegant 5-star hotel which is situated in the heart of London. This hotel is running one of the best restaurants in the city. This hotel is just a 5mins away from the Victoria railway station. There are many tourist attraction places near to the hotel. It contains Fabulous rooms and absolutely first rate service, from the great food and great staff to the kids cuddly toys and library.

When I just visited London with my wife, we stayed at the Millennium Bailey’s Hotel in South Kensington. It is very conveniently located, with a tube station just across the road, and lots of little pubs and restaurants nearby. The rooms were small, as are most European rooms, but it was nice that they had a 110 V outlet in our room.

The Soho Hotel provided for a great stay during my stay in London, 3 months back. The rooms are huge with excellent decor and ambiance. Room service was excellent and very timely. The location is very good with all the major attractions being close to it. The breakfast has plenty of options to choose from. The nights were very silent and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The entrance of the hotel is very impressive to look at. Though the hotel is small, it is well maintained and I definitely recommend it.

During the summer, the London School of Economics (LSE) rents out rooms in their dorms for very cheap prices. They are located in the heart of london (I stayed near Buckingham Palace) and offer convenient, safe, and cheap places to stay. Don't expect great hotel experience as these are dorm rooms, but for the price, they can't be beat, especially if you want to stay in London. It should be noted that the dorms are not marked very well, so make sure you aren't trying to find these places at night. It should also be noted that you can use the dorm phones with a special calling card they provide for 5 pounds, which was great for calling home. Overall, a great place to stay for very little cost in the heart of one of the most expensive cities in the world.
