As a child I loved my "Wonderful Towers of Watts" story book, so I couldn't resist going to see them when I finally found myself in LA! They were as beautiful as i'd hoped, and totally worth seeing!

I think it's possible to visit something unbearably famous evey day on your holiday in Los Angeles, and for me this was the highlight. The main building is amazing too but it's the sprawling collection spread over 9 buildings that really amazed me.

My kids and us went here for an afternoon to look round and try and catch a show at the Leonard Nimoy Even Horizon Theatre, and we hit the jackpot! We got to see a demonstration on how to make a comet from household items! The children were captivated and my wife and I were also really interested. Great place.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best theme park i've been to, the sheer number and variety of high-adrenaline rides was just what I was hoping for from the reputation of the park. It is expensive, and quite a trek out there but you're not going to be in LA every day are you?

No Visit to LA would be complete without a trip down sunset strip would it? We people-watched in Sunset Plaza for a bit over dinner then gawked as much as we could from there past no.77 (why?!?), the comedy store and the rocky and bullwinkle statue until it was time to head for bed! NOT ONE FAMOUS PERSON, very disappointed!
