When I was looking for a family friendly attraction in Los Angeles that was not a theme park, or a motion picture studio, one of my friends suggested Griffiths Observatory. It is a free space and science museum, that has lots of great hands on exhibitions that the kids loved, plus we got to see the planetarium show, which they also loved.

The last time I visited my Aunt in Los Angeles, she signed up our families to go on a culinary tour of Los Angeles with Melting Pot Tours. Their different tours will take visitors to various out of the way neighborhoods in Los Angeles, that each provides a culinary delight that anyone would enjoy.

During my honeymoon, my wife and I wanted to do something fun and sexy when visiting Los Angeles, so we decided to go to the original Frederick’s of Hollywood Store, which also houses a lingerie museum. It was really entertaining to see all of the different kinds of lingerie in the museum, and my wife and I also really enjoyed shopping in the store afterward.

One of my favorite Disney hotels is located in Disneyland, and is the Disneyland Hotel. My wife and I last stayed at the hotel during our honeymoon five years ago, and we decided to stay in the concierge tower. That is the best way to stay at the hotel, as there is a lounge with snacks, great service, and a private elevator on the outside of the building to the concierge floor.

If you have one fancy meal to eat at Disneyland, eat it that the Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square. I have eaten here twice, including once on my honeymoon, and loved the view of the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean going by, as well as the peaceful scenery of a Louisiana Bayou. The food is great too.
