Almudena Cathedral

This is an ancient cathedral built back in the late 1800s. It is awe inspiring and amazing by the sheer size and amazing architechture. The stained glass throughout the building captures the imagination. Tour at your own pace, it is free all day!

Madrid Walking tour Madrid of the Bourbons

We took this walking tour to get our bearings in this old city. It was a wealth of information and such an intimate and beautiful way to see the city. You get a feel for the history and culture in a fairly easy walk. My favorite area was the Royal Palace and gardens next to it. The whole tour takes under 2 hours.
