Retiro Park

I love heading here when I go to Madrid, it really seems like this is where the spanish like to spend their weekends and I can see why. Gorgeous park, and when the kids come too they can't get enough of the entertainment on a Sunday.

Parque Warner Bros

My kids and I loved this park, the Warner Bros cartoons are favourites of ours and it was such fun looking out for the best ones. Great rides too, something for everyone. Be warned though, you can't take your own food it, we had to leave ours in the car...not a pretty sight!!

Casa de Campo

This is an enormous area of Parkland outside of the city centre. There's a lot to keep you entertained here with a zoo, a lake with boats for hire, a ferris wheel and rollercoaster and a zoo. The cable railway has great views over the park and the city and there is a guide to tell you what to look out for.
