I'm not normally a fan of tours but my wife and I enjoyed this one so much I decided I had to shout about it! knowledgeable guides, lovely places and delicious food and wine, what more could you want?!

Madrid’s Plaza Mayor has the look and feel of the quintessential plaza of Old Europe. It’s the perfect place in the city centre to kick back and sip on some Spanish wine, munch on some tapas, and just take it all in. If you can arrange it so you’re there around dusk, that’s an amazing time to soak it up. Loads of people are out (both locals and tourists), and no matter which direction you’re looking…pristine visages await you. There’s plenty of affordable hotels and hostels within walking distance, and safety and security is a given.
