Sierra de Tramuntana

My boyfriend and I decided to leave the beach for a couple of days and hire a car to explore the mountains. Absolutlely stunning scenery, particularly at Puig Mayor which is the highest point on the island.

Tramuntana Mountains

The Tramuntana Mountains are one of Majorcas best kept secrets! We decided to drive up the windy roads with hairpin bends (not for the fainthearted!) which was a scenic drive with stunning views of reservoirs, viaducts and lots of wildlife. We also stopped for lunch at a lovely little viewpoint cafe where we met a few people doing walking tours.
