One of my favorite ways to experience any countryside is by train, and in Palma Majorca the best way to do that is the Soller Railway. The compartments are open to the outdoors letting you feel the warmth of the sun, and the breeze on your face as you experience the beautiful countryside.

Rock City in Palma is an amazing restaurant that everyone should visit during their trip to Majorca. Not only are the meals incredibly tasty with large portions, but they are also very reasonably priced, making this restaurant one of the best values in Majorca. Be sure to arrive early because they fill up pretty quickly.

One of my favorite hotels to stay at when visiting Majorca is located in Palma, the Continental Hotel, and it is a great place to stay. They provide some of the best trained staff I have ever dealt with, and they have a breakfast buffet that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater.

When I was in Majorca recently one of the people at the hotel told that we needed to visit Abacanto, an amazing bar in the area. It is a very quirky building, and is decorated in, of all things, a fruit theme. A wacky ambiance, albeit a very high priced one, my wife and I really enjoyed the cozy little nooks where couples could share an intimate evening.
