Daniel Liebskind's Imperial War Museum is a powerful place and really evokes the sense of a globe torn apart by conflict. Worth visiting for the building alone.

This is a great museum that satisfies my fascination with the police of the Victorian era. It is housed in an old police station, so you can get the feel of being locked up. It is only open Tuesdays, so you have to plan ahead.

This church dates back to the 1400s and is still in relatively good condition. They have kept it preserved where they could and it is awe inspiring.

This is a wonderful art gallery/museum that is very interesting and makes the local art collection come alive. It is a good place for adults and older kids who have an interest in art.

We were fascinated with the old buses and vehicles from the early days, including a horse drawn bus. They are obviously restored and well cared for. It is a fascinating trip back in time.
