Marti Resort Hotel

posted by qcoldsmith on 16 November 2010 at 12:14

The Marti Resort Hotel had all the facilities we could have hoped for and really made our stay in Marmaris. It's just 5 minutes from the town centre and has a strip of private beach. There's a great bar with great cocktail waiters, a spa, gym, tennis courts, pool and some really great staff. Oh, and room service runs til 2am

Club Sultan Maris

This is a really suite family business. The rooms are all apartments with large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and balconies. There's a nice swimming pool and pool bar which is a great place to hang out. Alternatively, the beach isn't far away and can be reached on foot via a lovely walk along there canal.

Ataturk Park

To the east of marmaris is a lovely park, really nice and quiet and the perfect place to take the kids for a kickabout and some fun away from the beach for a change. A couple of locals also pointed out to me the frankincense trees which i'd never seen before and were lovely.

East of the town, it's huge, ask if you're not sure but be adventurous!

Horseback Mountain Tour

posted by qcasteel on 12 November 2010 at 16:01

The mountains next to Marmaris are gorgeous and taking a horseback tour was the most relaxing way of looking round, little effort, peaceful. A really nice change from the sunbathing routine.

Moonlight Trip

My mates and I got onto this for free by going to the info desk at vagabundo, and that makes the rip a real bargain. Such a fun night, with partying booze and dancing, with belly dancers there to show you all the way!
