Bodrum

I do love it in Marmaris, the people, the nightlife, the gorgeous beach, but sometimes you just fancy a change, and this is where to hydrofoil comes in. So easy, so fast, you can visit Bodrum for the day, see the ancient town and the castle and shop a bit, then you're back for partying in Marmaris in the evening! Perfect!

Marmaris Castle

It seems to be the most popular tourist hangout in the whole of Marmaris, well in the daytime anyway. Gorgeous castle and the museum is great too. Don't forget to get to the top and see the view as well.

Marmaris Castle

The Marmaris castle dates backto the 3rd century BC and was constructed by the Ionians. The current structure is, i think about 500 yeatrs old and quite quaint in appearance. It's very pretty though and there are some lovely little alleyways of old houses grouped around the edge of the castle. The views from the castle are lovely too. Its open daily.
