This market square is inescapable, and why would you want to? There's so much going on here it's almost overwhelming when you first go, but head back and you'll be rewarded with some great food and drink, and if you can tuck yourself away in a cafe the people-watching is second to none!

I know it's a bit of a tourist trap but kids just don't see it, they just see excitement and hustle and bustle. They just couldn't get enough of the entertainment here and I have to say I was a bit won over by their enthusiasm! Still would avoid the overpriced restaurants here as much as possible though!

Theis is the best place to hang out in the evening in Corfu town (unless you're having a bbq on the beach!), there's plenty to see, loads of people watching to be donw, and the green spaces, rotunda and music pavilion have loads of exciting treats to offer, more so in the summer than the winter but that's to be expected really.

I adore ports, and this one is so alive and bustling! And it's got so much history to it too. Not only are there plenty of ships coming and going and lots of people watching to do, but you can also browse the great fish markets nearby for something for dinner, as well as a strioll down the pier to see models of ancient boats.

Place Jacques Cartier

It feels a million miles away from the skyscrapers and the underground shopping city, here you can enjoy a more relaxed life with cafe culture. I loved to sit and people watch, coffee in hand, overlooking the square where street performers ply their trade.
