Dar Silsila

posted by EasyE on 19 January 2011 at 15:52

This is a Riyad in The Moussaine part of town, run by Jean Patrick, a Frenchman and just the kind of European eccentric who you would imagine fostering an empire in Marrakech. He was utterly lovely and really helpful as were the rest of the staff. There are great views of the Kouttoubia mosque.

Riad Kniza

This is the best hotel I've stayed in ever, anywhere in the world. Marrakech is a hot and hectic city and any calm and shade is appreciated. The staff at Riad Kniza go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Well worth splashing out on.

Hotel Royal Mirage

posted by Shaon on 5 June 2009 at 14:55

Hotel Royal Mirage is a very nice hotel in all aspects. The welcoming staffs are brilliant, the swimming pool is fantastic and the hotel decor is stupendous. The hotel is very close to the downtown area and is a 15 minutes walk from the food market. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were neatly kept, though they were a little small. Overall, a very good hotel for a short stay.
