The Dyer's souq is easily the most photogenic spot in Marrakesh - which is really saying something! You can see the areas where the dyer's work to colour their strands of wool. The scene of luminous multi coloured wools hanging from the rafters of this market is quite stunning, and if like me, you feel sufficiently swept up in the romance of the market to buy something - Haggle hard and aim for about a fifth of the starting price!

Marrakesh's main souq is like nothing I've ever seen! although it feels very tourist orientated now, some bits are much more traditional feeling. I spent a day in the souq- you should be prepared to get lost as its a complete labyrinth
