A crazy frontage belies the impressive and wide-reaching collection inside the museum. Wonderful place, and I loved the Renaissance collection the best. Definitely the best attraction I went to in Miami.

I'd highly recommend the art deco walking tour, loads of great architecture to see, as well as other interesting places that it takes you past. Getting to know a city on foot is the best way to feel that i've done things properly in my opinion!

This is a little slice of Miami past and a beautiful place to visit. The mansion looks like a renaissance paradise which makes it all the more bizarre set amid the palm trees. The gardens are probably the best thing about a visit here as they are arranged on several levels with coral walls and beautiful plants. The dock area is also very attractive.

South beach really embodies the hedonistic party atmosphere that Miami has been known for forever. There are loads of good bars and restaurants around here too. The art deco district is just by the beach and despite the fact that lots of up market brands have moved in, retains its distinctive architecture very much in tact.
