This is perhaps the most stunning spot i've ever been to. The beaches are amazing and the water is perfect. Just ideal for a relaxing day out.

I absolutely adored it here, they have an excellent selection of plants and their rare species were a treat to look at. We had a very pleasant walk around too although it did get busier as the day went on.

Probably the most beautiful garden i've been to the collection is amazing with so many rare plants and trees to captivate. So relaxing, we got there early as advised and literally stayed til they kicked us out.

Biscayne National Park

I got taken here by friends who I was visiting in Miami and I loved it. We spent our time by the mangrove forests which are amazing, as well as looking in the seagrass beds to see if we could see turtles and manatees but to no avail, i suspect we were too noisy! Would love to go back to the coral reef part and to see the tropical forest in the interior too.

Hands-down the best place I went in Miami. It's beautiful, peaceful and the collection of plants is just superb. If you can, go on 1st wed of the month as you pay what you can, rather than the normal entrance fee. I saw a wedding there when I visited and can't think of a better place, it's stunning.

off old cutler road, you can get there in the bus in the mornings and back in the afternoons though if you try hard!
