One of the largest Gothic cathedrals in all of Europe, it holds a vast array of history and art. Plus the views from the top are spectacular. The building dates back to the 1300s.

Granted the Duomo is likely the most popular tourist attraction in Milan, but it’s definitely earned that distinction. Pure beauty. As you approach this cathedral, you can feel it in the air that you’re nearing something holy, massive and almost unreal. Once inside, it’s dark as ever and perfect for setting the ambience. Ladies, you’ll need to cover up your shoulders and legs…just an fyi. I would also recommend you pay the few Euro’s fee to get to the top of the roof. The scenic views of the city are breathtaking, and to gets so close to the spires is priceless. You gotta go!

While many of the fashion forward will think of Milan and think of the designer boutiques, there is much more to see and do then shopping. My favorite is the Duomo, or the central Cathedral of the city. Here you can see many fine hand crafted artifacts and works from early Christian times, which just depict a level of craftsmanship that is sadly hard to come by in the modern world.
