The church itself is really beautiful but we came to see the Last Supper by Da Vinci which is an absolute MUST for anyone visiting Milan- especially for fans of the Da Vinci Code!

Taking over 500 years to complete, this church is one of the largest in the world. The church has hundreds of gargoyles and statues that are absoluetely stunning! You must be dressed appropriately, no bare shoulders or above the knee skirts but it's a church, so that is expected. You will really be blown away by it's beauty.

One of the little known attractions in Milan is the beautiful St. Ambrose Basilica. I love it because it is one of the oldest churches in Milan, being built in the 4th century, and it has a certain stark beauty that I always find incredibly calming and soothing. It is also amazing to see pictures of the damage that the basilica sustained during World War II, and how well it has been repaired.
