I loved this pretty park not just because of the pond and the pathways but also because I first heard about it in 'The Master and Margarita' and wanted to go there ever since. There is even a statue of Bulgakov, who lived in the area and wrote books in secret.

I was really excited to see this park, which has been a favourite haunt of the rich and famous moscow residents. The builings and architecture in general as well as the parkland were lovely but the market was overpriced and just too crammed to be enjoyable at all. Stick to the parkland!
