High end dining with atmosphere, views and a wine list above the ordinary. Situated in the Varadero area ofPuerto del Carmen and just on the sea front, there are incredible views of Puerto Calero, Playa Quemada and of the coast surrounding Peurgo del Carmen Harbour. At night the view takes on an almost unearthly quality of seacoast and land and sky. On the Ristorante Beluga´s large terrace, we experienced excellent service from a professional and friendly staff. The fresh fish and homemade cuisine will not disappoint the visitor lucky enough to chance upon this gem. Inside the restaurant, there is subtle illumination from wall lamps and plenty of light from clear and artfully placed windows that lend a clean line to the room with crisp white linens over dark wood tables on cool tile floor. There is carefully placed pieces of art and decorative plates and glassware artfully displayed, but not in overabundance. The sommelier really knows her trade and guides the diner on the best choice of wine to accompany their dinner.
