One of my favorite ways to experience any countryside is by train, and in Palma Majorca the best way to do that is the Soller Railway. The compartments are open to the outdoors letting you feel the warmth of the sun, and the breeze on your face as you experience the beautiful countryside.

There are many amazing restaurants in Athen’s Plaka, but one of the best that I have found is Brettos, which has a large outdoor seating area providing a true European café ambiance. There is a very assertive maitre de who talked us into eating what ended up our best meal in Athens.

There are many ways to see the Windy City, the best way I have found to see Chicago is the City Segway Tours. We traveled on the public streets to see the city’s top tourist attractions, and learn about them for our guide, plus learning how to use a Segway is a great experience, and loads of fun.

One of the things that Geneva is most famous for is their decadent chocolates, and after speaking to my hotel concierge, who managed to snag me one of their behind the scenes tours, I visited Settler Chocolates. While there, I tasted the ingredients that make up their chocolates, as well as spend time with their chocolate experts in making some of their specialties.

Being a big history buff, while I was visiting Prague, I took an afternoon for myself to visit the Museum of Communism, which details the history of the Czech Republic as a whole during Communism, and has informative exhibitions which go all the way to the end of Communism, and the break up of Czechoslovakia.
