A lovely spot in the old quarter, nice to see some of the town's past as most things here seem pretty modern. Don't try to get in though, they won't let you.

Loads to do here! The water park is the main attraction but you can also play golf, football, basketball, try shooting and I think I also saw remote control trucks you can fight with!

Academy of Music

Budapest has a very rich musical tradition and the Academy of Music is the flagship. Today, the building is an immense art nouveau landmark well worth seeing.

Aquinium Museum and Roman Ruins

The roman capital of the area, there are some ruins and a large amphitheatre plus mosaic floors and the whole thing is really brought to life with dioramas.

City Park

Great place! We loved to head here for a stroll after lunch if it wasn't too far as it's great to get away from the busy roads for a bit. The baths are great too.
