At the Hilton, this is a lovely beach for relaxing with a shish pipe, looking at the beautiful sunset. Great holiday!

Unbelievable place. I went last year and this year and I can't wait to go again! It's so amazing!

I always join an organised tour so you get refreshments, a trip to the beach after and a guide through the canyon as well as pick up and drop off.

St Catherine's Monastery

We joined a tour that went for the dawn climb up to the monastery. I could hardly believe my eyes when my alarm went off but it was totally worth it for the wonderful view!

Known as the heart of literary Madrid this was my favourite spot in the city. You can just sit on one of the lovely cafes or bars, read and watch the world go by it's just perfect. Don't forget to hang about for tapas too!!

Metro Sol or Anton Martin but you've got a bit of a walk from either

Puerta del Sol

If you want to find the young people and be where the action is in the evenings then head here. Unfortunately our hotel was right by here and we're no longer young, but it's still a great spot for visitig Old Madrid too.
