The National Museum of Art of Catalunya is a fascinating place, such a wide range of art all housed in this huge and beautiful building! It's a bit of a trip out of the centre but it's worth it. If you're there early evening stick around for the Magic Fountains too.

Wonderful! We went at night and the light was simply magical! I never knew there were so many waterways here but then I guess the tour wouldn't be "hidden canals" without them!

Although on the face of it a macabre activity the cemetery is beautiful and the sheer amount of famous names will stagger you...from Jim Morrison to Moliere it's quite astonishing.

Housed in the Centre Georges Pompidou this gallery is a truly cultural experience all round. Architecture and art combine! I love it here. Don't forget to see the amazing views as well!

I just adore strolling along the left bank of the Seine, seeing Notre Dame and the two islands, feeling the arty vibe and browsing the lovely little bookshops. Go as far as you can - The Louvre across the river and the Hotel del Invalides await!
