This is a totally unexpected attraction in the shopping district, an old colonial building based on the US eastern country houses. Beautifully furnished with antiques make sure to see the gardens too.

Crystal Mountain

A pretty strange place but once you put that to one side it's actually a lot of fun here. I came to see the amazing crystals which more than matched my expectations, but I also tried my hand at panning for crystals (got none) and went to the miniature farm! Llamas!!

A nice central square with a cultural centre and some great little places to hang out whilst you prepare for the gruelling (!) day ahead sightseeing.

Flora Fountains

I'm a fountain addict and this is one of the most majestic that i've seen, especially lit up at night. It's an amazing piece exquisitely sculpted, go see it!!

A slightly outdated building belies all the exciting things you can see inside, and I loved seeing the local coral fish in particular. It's nice to see the focus on the Indian Ocean.
