Head to Freedom Plaza and you'll go headlong into an exotic east asian world! Go for the day and explore the sops and make sure to eat at at least two places to fully experience it! My friend told me about this area and would have missed out otherwise!

quite a way west of the centre but you can get there on public transport pretty easily!

Totally gorgeous. I could have sat here all day and all night, I just love the design. Combine it with a trip to the iconic clubs in the king's cross area!

What a wonderful experience! It's all about the native creatures here and you can really get all up-close and personal with them too. The photo of me and the koala on the rooftop will probably be my facebbok profile picture for ever!

Balmain

We were lucky enough to be staying in this area which is so vibrant and arty! The nightlife was great and in the daytime too there's so much to do with great places to eat. Don't miss out on the Balmain Markets, just the spot for some shopping!!

Monastery of St Paul

My husband arranged for us to stay a night here as part of our Hurgahda holiday experience, and it was amazing. Delighful old place with some gorgeous paintings and the freshwater springs are perfect for relaxing.
