Quartel del Conde-Duque

This complex is absolutely magnificent! The huge facade is completely mad but definitely eye-catching. The Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art was great too, certainly a place well worth visiting.

Palacio de las Cortes

What a gorgeous place for Parliament to hang out! I have to say i'm not too sure about the modern extension, but I could sit and look at the facade all day. So elegant!

Metropolis Building

I adore this stunning building, and would make a detour to pass by it day or (especially) night. Apparently it's the most photographed building in Madrid and I'm in total agreement with that!

Myndos Gate

It's amazing that this magnificent gate has lasted from the Helicarnassus period, especially when you think that the other 7km of the walls have been destroyed over time. Fabulous place.

Dedeman Aquapark

We have 3 kids who love water and so this was perfect, rather than the sea where I worry about currents, boats etc, they could just dash about here all day whilst we kept an eye out but relaxed a bit too.
