In the shadows of the huge stadium and within sight of the Magnificent Table Mountain, this park is a lovely green haven, perfect for lunch and a stroll to reflect on your next move in SA. The lighthouse and the biodiversity nursery were personal highlights.

I really enjoyed the SA World Cup (apart from England obviously) and couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to the Stadium in Cape Town. Marvellous facilities, adn the views from around the stadium were ever bit as amazing up to Table Mountain as I was hoping they'd be.

A fun day trip, especially for young teens who will love the 'Pink Palace' formerly inhabited by Katie Price and Peter Andre, as well as the Camel Park. Camel rides, a swimming pool and a small zoo are all there to entertain.

I always like to keep up my Sunday worship on holiday which affords me a great chance to really get to know another church. This time I headed to Kiti for the Panagia Angeloktisti Church Sunday service. The church is beautiful, the 6th centruy mosaic is so well preserved, and the congregation were friendly.

This resort is given a very bad name, but it should be more kindly looked upon, although January isn't exactly peak season! Great beach, and the town has a lovely old feel to it thanks to the Venetian walls, moque and the abandoned Varosia district formerly part of the land war between the Greeks and the Turks
