So much to see and do here! Shopping, eating and plenty of attractions...sea lions, a mirror maze, aquarium, and we had a live band too! You could literally spend your whole holiday here!

Red-and-White-Ferry

Iconic in the city, the ferry was such fun! It goes from Fisherman's Wharf to Sausalito and back and the views across the bay and to the bridge are amazing! Fisherman's Wharf is a great place to end up too as there are loads of places to sit, eat or drink, and relax.

Reichstag

Steeped in history, the Reichstag is once more home to Germany's parliament after the division of Berlin, and the building has been restored to its former glory...plus the addition of a stunning glass dome. We walked to the top of the dome and loved every minute of seeing this fantastic place.

Nikolaikirche

posted by jbastion on 3 February 2011 at 11:10

The oldest church in Berlin, traditional on the outside, elegant and perfectly formed on the inside. We came across it when we were strolling the bank of the river Spree, and spied it just off the river. Lovely place to visit.
