This is a good afternoon out. AS you walk in there's a massive court with loads of balls and lots of different basketball hoops from through the ages. Upstairs, the museum continues with exhibits charting the history of the game and the evolution of the equipment used.

Having been to Paphos before and thoroughly enjoyed but exhausted the Archeological Park we were after a new site to visit, so went to the ruins of the ancient castle of 40 columns. It was so much fun there with steep steps and plenty to imagine, the kids enjoyed dashing about too.

We drove here for the day from Paphos, and were really impressed with how peaceful and beautiful this area was, having not visited north cyprus before. We are thinking of booking our holiday up this way next year.

A wonderful musuem with artefacts dating all the way back to the Neolithic age, although I have to say that the statues of the greek gods were my favourite bit.

Absolutely wonderful village just outside of Paphos, known for its artists studios. It's lovely to walk around and see all the art this tiny village is producing, and out lunch at the local taverna was delicious, so fresh.

Just out to the north of Paphos, you'll probably have to drive
