Also known as La Pedrera, this is my favourite of Gaudi's buildings. Designed as an apartment block, there's so much to see, and the roof terrace, oh I could live there.

Well, this is a typically Hilton affair but a decent one I suppose. The Public rooms have that same sterile soul less vibe to them and the food isn't exactly exciting. Nonetheless, we had a really good stay here. Stayed in and Executive Lounge Room with was absolutely massive and gave us access to the Executive Club.

This is a really amazing little tradition and one that I wish we could replicate in London. I guess that people really just need to stretch their legs on boxing day so its good that they have the race then. The streets are packed with people and there's a sort of carnival atmosphere at the Harbour Bridge where the race starts.

There's nothing reeally to be faulted about this place. The staff are friendly, rooms are massive and really comfortable, food is great and its really at the heart of the CBD. I'd definitely recommend it.

This is a good area to wander through with quite a few cafes and restaurants open during the day. By night though, it really becomes the place to be with hundreds of nightclubs and bars opening up. There is a slightly seedy elemnt here too, and I've certainly never seen so many strip clubs before!
