I'd been here at the height of the summer and it was rammed so it was nice to go when it was a bit quieter and you could really spend time watching some of the animals. I love the birds and the galleon was the highlight for the children.

Sintra is like a little Disney dream town, the architecture is completely bizarre and fantastical. The most important things to see are the Moorish castle and the Pena Palace, but there's an amazing sight around every corner

OMG I had the best time in Levante in Benidorm learning to waterski at this amazing place. It's really nice because you get pulled along on a cable rather than by a boat so it's not quite so terrifying! Such fun and I can't wait to go back and work on my skills.

Lapa Palace

This is, I think, thought to be the best hotel in Lisbon and we certainly found it quite magical. It's a former stately villa sitting on a hill that overlooks the Tagus river. The gardens are lovely and the outdoor pool was a massive bonus.

My family and I recently returned from a trip to Cyprus where we stayed at The Sea N Lake View apartments. We had stayed there several years before and when returning we truly felt as though we were returning to our home away from home
