Running along the promenade is an awesome little train that runs on the pavement and goes all along the sea showing you the sights and taking you to different beaches, it's great fun and saves a walk too!

The story behind this church is nearly as wonderful as the building itself is today, and it's amazing that it's been restored at all considering the effort it must have been to undo all the whitewashing and plastering it had when the Turks invaded! Inside the number of relics and bits of art is very impressive indeed.

Like a castle with sever pointed towers this bastion feels a little bit magical. And the views are more than a bit special, with St Stephen’s Basilica, Margaret Island, Parliament and the Academy of Sciences all within view plus much more. You can even go at night for free, which we did on our last night there.

I adore shopping and one of my favourite holiday activities is to check out the local shopping streets and this was the best around. So many great shops and if you sneak off the side roads you can find little courtyards serving delicious and rather bargainous food too, always good to have more cash to splash on shoes!

Tired of queueing all the time we decided to head off-site for a day when we were at Disney. We headed for the Science Center and had a thoroughly agreeable time. The boys loved digging for fossils and we were just pleased to go somewhere where we could do stuff more spontaneously!
