If you get fed up with the humid conditions of the coast and languishing on the beach, escape to Teide, one of the most attractive wastelands I've ever seen. The volcano is nearly 4000 metres high and is apparently the third highest in the world. You can get a cable car up the volcano during daylight hours and its well worth doing.

This was a great hotel. I'd say it's best aspect is the food which is really lovely. There are five different restaurants and they serve a variety of regional and international cuisine. Our favourite restaurant was called El Patio. There are two swimming pools - a palm tree shaped freshwater pool and a salt water pool too. A great place to stay.

This was the first adults only hotel that we'd ever stayed in and it was actually much better. Kind of made me wonder why we'd never done it before. Everything about the hotel was great and the fact that the experience wasn't compromised by noisy kids tearing around was incredible.

This was a really great holiday. One of the best I've ever been on I think. Everything is within walking distance - bars, shops etc. The best bit though is the emphasis that the hotel puts on involving people in activities. There's a really great animation team and they had a sort of dance workshop where everyone was encouraged to join in. Miraculously, everyone DID join in and we had a really great time.

We went to the fiesta hotel during the off peak season for a bit of autumn sun and it was absolutely divine . We had the pool and the beaches to ourselves. Even though it was off season we never felt like the staff were taking it easy particularly as they were always attentive to our needs.
