This is the part of town to head to on a saturday night when the bars and restaurants are buzzing, serving international cuisine and pumping out the music. All Adams Morgan evenings should be wrapped up at Madam Organs where live bands play throughout the week.

This is a really great daytrip to make to escape the chaos and bustle of the big city. You can just chill out with a picnic or a barbeque or you can get in a game of golf, take a cable car up to the Magalies Mountain, from where the views are quite breath taking. There are also lots of shops and restaurants here too.

A Fairly deadly idea for a chain is Death By Chocolate. Everything on the Menu is made of chocolate. The white chocolate hot chocolate is really delicious and quite a novelty.

This is the hip and happening part of Vancouver and has all of the city's best shopping. Fashion, books, record shops, you'll find pretty much evertything you could want here and it's also a lovely bustling little part of town and the place to spot celebrities and film stars!

The Climb to the top of Black mountain only takes about two hours which for a middle disatance walker like myself is really quite ideal! From the top you'll get views of Garibaldi, Bowen Island and the Georgia Straits, some really magnificent sights and your walk takes you through some stunning alpine evergreen forests.
