Dandelion Communitea Cafe is one of the most crucial places to visit in Orlando. They have amazing food (especially their chili), lovely staff and a very inviting atmosphere (you can sit inside or outside at a table or in the garden). Their menu is pretty limited, but they usually have a special that is always delicious, and they also have an very large selection of teas to match your every mood.

Renaissance Orlando Resort

There are so many great hotels in Orlando, and really good hotels near the airport, all newer, very well appointed, that for one to charge you to park in their lot I think is outrageous. The $8.00 per day fee to park was not disclosed anywhere on their site when I booked this stay....

Grand Bohemian Hotel

Now this is what a hotel should be! What a hidden gem. The hotel impressed from the moment we were greeted by the valet, to the time our luggage was back in the car. Front desk staff was perfectly attentive. The food in the restaurant was superb.

Trevi Fountain

Like every other tourist in Rome, I found myself standing with my back to the Trevi Fountain hurling a Euro coin over my shoulder. I have no idea of the significnace or provenance of this tradition but it was fun to buy into it. The fountain itself is the biggest and most beautiful in Rome and has to be seen.

DoubleTree Orlando

Great location - you can walk to Universal in 20 minutes, nice room size, comfortable beds, breakfast options are plentiful but sadly very expensive.
