Praia do Faro

My sister and our families spent a very happy week mostly camped out on this beach, and swimming in the sea. It's lovely, plenty of space and you can let the kids run off and still see them, giving them freedom and you some sense of control!

You can get the airport bus there but with a whole load of you a car is just more practical

Rio Formosa Boat Trip

Gorgeous place, my boyfriend and I took a trip round it on a boat tour and it even looked stunning in the semi-drizzle so i can only imagine how nice it would be in the height of summer!

Iztuzu Beach

An absolutely ginormous beach just outside Dalaman, peaceful and beautiful. My boyfriend and me spent a couple of very relaxing days here before embarking on a road-trip style adventure to Pamukkale and Ephesius.

Rhodes Day Trip

In a fit of madness my girlfriend and I agreed a day trip to rhodes with a few other people we met, entailing getting the hydrofoil from Marmaris, which takes about an hour once you're there. It was enjoyable but i think i'd prefer to travel less and see more next time!

Paragliding

My friend and I decided to do a paraglide in Dalaman and we had a total blast. Amazing scenery, unbelieveable adrenaline rush. Really great. Not cheap, but definitely worth doing.
