The shopping in Gumbet is great, so many things you'll want to take home and cherish. In the end I settled on some rather unusual metal jewellery which has been the envy of all my friends back home. Don't forget to barter!

My girlfriends and I wanted a cheap sandy getaway and that was just what we got. The beach was lovely and the water warm and clear. We liked to walk round to the right of the beach best, but not too far otherwise you can't get to any food!

Just amazing. The variety, colour and quality of the rugs on offer was astonishing. I have to say I was tempted to buy about 5 or 6 bnut ended up settling for just one, which they arranged to have shipped to my house, since it wasn't going to fit in my suitcase! MAybe next time i'll pack in a snowboard bag....

About an hour's drive but you just can't beat having something so good in your house to remind you of your holiday and brighten the place up

The first couple of days I was on holiday I kept seeing people learning to windsurf and I finally got up the courage to have a go. The people were really patient with my lack of coordination and i had a fun time! I even went back the next day to learn more!

you'll find people waiting to teach you all along the beach, I went to one near the far end, can't remember the name

This is Canada's largest collection of historical buildings, and makes for a great day out. Really interesting.
